From the NYS Thruway: Take exit 21..Catskill (not 21A or 21B). At end of exit ramp, turn left. Take first left onto Rt 23 East (Rip Van Winkle Bridge, Hudson). Follow the directions below "from west".
From the Taconic State Parkway: Take the HUDSON/ROUTE 82 exit. Turn towards HUDSON. This puts you on Route 82. At next traffic light, (intersection Rts 82, 9H, 9 and 23) go straight through. Take second left by Pizza Garden (Church Road), then first left (Gardner Road), then first right (Spring Road...dead end dirt road). Second driveway on left...watch for the big COUNTRYWOOL sign)
From within Columbia County:
The shop is located south of Hudson.
from the north......take Rt9H south through Claverack traffic light. At next traffic light (Rts 9H, 9, 82 and 23) take right onto 9and23....take second left by Pizza Garden (Church Road), then first left (Gardner Road), then first right (Spring Road...dead end dirt road) Second driveway on left....watch for the big COUNTRYWOOL sign)
from west......travel on Rt 23 east, go over the Rip Van Winkle Bridge and bear right onto 9G South. Once on 9G, take 2nd left onto County Route 14......you won't see the sign till you are on the road (first left is Olana State Park). Once on Rt 14, travel a few miles and stop at a 4-way stop sign intersection. Rt 14 turns into Church Road here. Go straight. Once on Church take your first right (Gardner Road), then first right (Spring Road...dead end dirt road) Second driveway on left....watch for the big COUNTRYWOOL sign)
from the south.....go north on Rt 9 through Livingston...stay on 9 until you pass Stonehouse Farm...take next left(Stickles Road). At the end of Stickles, turn left (Orchard Road). Once on Orchard, take third left (Spring Road...dead end dirt road) Second driveway on left....watch for the big COUNTRYWOOL sign)
from the east.....Get on Rt 23 west. At Claverack traffic light, take left onto Rt 9H (and 23) south.. At next traffic light (Rts 9H, 9, 82 and 23) take right onto 9and23....take second left by Pizza Garden (Church Road), then first left (Gardner Road), then first right pring Road...dead end dirt road.
